It's official the Stars will no longer be based at Blackwood Rugby Club. The club would like to out on record it's thanks for the support of Blackwood Rugby Club over the last 10-15 years; we have some very good times over those years and hope that we can continue to remain friends albeit from separate premises.

The stars will be based in the short term at The Brewers Lodge. We are very optimistic of moving into our own club premises in the near future and more news will be published once things are finalised. We will continue playing at Libanus rugby ground. This is a very exciting time got the stars as we plan to add a junior section for boys and girls together with a woman's team in the near future and actively promote community rugby in the town of Blackwood. We welcome any volunteers to help set up and run the junior and woman's teams, if anybody is interested please contact the club secretary Dai Lewis 07906 995879 

The Stars first preseason friendly is this Saturday 12th August KO 2:30 against local rivals Deri RFC. This will be an opportunity got anybody who wants to join the club as a volunteer or member to come along and watch the game and chat to current committee and club members to get a feel of what the club is all about and it's plan for the future.

Finally any players who either want to start playing or want a fresh start with a new club turn up on Saturday for the trail game or come training at Libanus on Monday and Wednesday evening's at 7:00pm
